| In December, 2006, the State Council of China authorized 7 Export Processing Zones to hold the function of bonded logistics as the experimental units. In 2008, the function of bonded logistics is hopeful to expand to all EPZs in China. After the expansion, the policies and functions of Free Trade Zone, Bonded Logistics Park and bonded logistic Center shall be added to EPZ, and more functions shall be added, such as bonded warehouse, logistics, collection and distribution, R&D, Inspection, maintenance, etc. So, EPZ will become one of the Custom supervising special areas opening to outside world, with the highest administrative level, the most favorable policies and the most complete functions. |
